Private by design: nothing joins your calls

We don’t invite a bot or participant into your meetings. Audio capture happens from your device, so meeting attendance and invite lists stay unchanged

We don’t store audio recordings - only notes and transcripts

Audio is only used to generate transcripts, and is never stored. Audio files never leave your device as Wendi transcribes speech in real time.

No third party model training on your data.

We don’t allow our AI providers to train on your content. If we ever use anonymised to improve our product, you can easily opt out.

All sensitive data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

You get a 30-day free trial. You’ll add a card to start, and you’ll only be charged on day 30. If it’s not valuable for you or your managers, cancel before day 30; no fuss.

Do we need HR approval to use Wendi?

Usually not. Wendi is a manager tool, not an HR system or monitoring platform. Many teams still choose to involve HR; and Wendi is designed to complement HR, not bypass it.

Is Wendi compliant and safe to use?

Wendi is grounded in UK employment law and ACAS-aligned best-practice handling for common workplace situations. It doesn’t automate decisions or provide legal advice it supports better judgement, clearer documentation, and more consistent handling of people issues.

How does Wendi take meeting notes without joining calls?

Wendi works like a local notepad. It listens to your computer’s audio directly, without joining meetings as a bot.

Why we built Wendi

Wendi was built off the back of the chapter that almost killed our company, when we had raised venture capital against all odds, and built a world-class team.

But what nearly killed our company wasn't strategy, tech, or funding; it was a people problem: disagreement, conflict left unresolved, and a founder breakup that turned into a quiet war we didn't feel we could talk about.

When we finally faced it, we realised how common this is. Businesses are run by people. AI can make us more productive, but if we don't learn to manage and lead better, we don't use AI well; and teams suffer quietly.

So we built the product we wish we had: a private manager workspace that helps people handle hard situations early, fairly, and safely; so great teams don't fall apart over avoidable people problems.

We believe this is one of the first times in history we can truly improve management in the moment; helping the future of work become a place where AI supports better, faster, safer human decisions.
